Litinger family
The Litinger Family (left to right), Julie, Jonathan, Lindsay, Bruce and Renee, are amazed by the generosity of donors who have given $1,100,000 to the endowment fund!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporters, we have busted through the $1 million mark! Please help us keep the momentum going on our way to raising $5 million to sustain the P.R.I.D.E. program for as long as our adult clients need us.

We have received donations of all amounts from so many friends to support the Renee and Bruce Litinger and Family Endowment. Leading the charge in 2015, Leon and Toby Cooperman pledged a $50,000 matching grant for each year through 2019. Won't you join the Coopermans in supporting P.R.I.D.E.?

Why Are We Raising Money for P.R.I.D.E.?

The Litinger Family Endowment will help to:

  • Supplement day-to-day operating costs
  • Start new centers when current centers reach capacity
  • Purchase equipment, such as vans, computers and more
  • Allow for the program to run all year long
  • Provide emergency funding for compassionate reasons related to client and family aging issues

While government funding is going down, interest in P.R.I.D.E. program continues to go up. Already, P.R.I.D.E. has expanded into two locations—Bergen and Morris—serving about 150 clients between the full-time day and part-time evening programs. This year, 15 more students will graduate and enroll in P.R.I.D.E. We are facing a real challenge to keep up with the demand.

Please join our campaign to ensure ECLC graduates have the option of the P.R.I.D.E. program and all its benefits and supports for many years to come!

Support the Litinger Family Endowment!

Please help us secure the future of our wonderful P.R.I.D.E. program by helping us raise $5 million for the newly established Renee and Bruce Litinger Family Endowment Fund in honor of our longtime executive director, Bruce Litinger.

This campaign will not impact funding for our schools or Community Personnel Services (CPS)! Our schools are primarily funded by the students' local sending districts and will continue to receive supplemental moneys as needed through the ECLC Foundation.
