ECLC offers workshops on topics that are particularly important to parents/guardians of children with special needs. Please plan to attend our workshops to hear from experts and stay up-to-date on the latest information and network with other like-minded parents.

Webinar on Special Education Placement Options

Parents and advocates will learn about the full continuum of placement options that must be considered for your child with special needs. Options range from placement in a general education classroom (with support, accommodations and modifications), to placement in a private school or a residential program. This Webinar features expert attorney Lenore Boyarin, from Sussan, Greenwald & Wesler.

Parent Support Group Meeting on February 8

This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and meet others who understand and empathize with what you are going through. This meeting is open to any parent who has a child with special needs of any age, no matter if they are enrolled in ECLC or another school. It is for parents and run by parents! Please join us to meet other like-minded parents.

Learn How to Regulate Your Child's Sensory Needs

Parents and educators will be empowered with new skills and strategies to help children with special needs have a better school, home and community experience. Explore a range of community activities to meet sensory needs. Presenters and various local representatives from special-needs organizations will answer your questions. This workshop will benefit both educators and parents!
