Educators Earn 5.5 CEUs with Autism Expert Jim Ball

Nationally recognized autism expert, Jim Ball, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), is the president and CEO of JB Autism Consulting. Ball has been working in the private sector field of autism for more than 25 years. In a variety of settings, he has provided educational, employment, and residential services to children and adults affected with autism.

Workshop Schedule:

  • 8:30 a.m.–Noon: "Techniques for Systematic Teaching and Reducing Behavior Challenges in Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder — A Positive Behavioral Support Approach"
    Learn systematic techniques for teaching students with autism. The session focuses on reducing challenging behaviors and reinforcer assessment.
  • Noon–1 p.m.: Lunch will be provided. Tours of ECLC offered.
  • 1–3 p.m.: Topic: "Evidence Based Behavioral Strategies for Students with Developmental Disabilities and Autism"
    This session will teach specific social skills, enhancing motivation and generalization training. A demonstration will be presented using real life examples.

$40 fee includes breakfast and lunch. Pre-registration is required. Download form to sign up.
