ECLC Foundation
The ECLC Foundation acts as the fundraising arm of the ECLC family of organizations, supplementing and supporting our school programs in Chatham and Ho-Ho-Kus, as well as our adult programs, including Community Personnel Services (CPS) and the PRIDE Adult Program, through private contributions and grants.
The Foundation’s impact would not be possible without the generous support of our staff, parents, and donors. These contributions are vital in ensuring that nearly 900 students and adult clients receive the highest quality education and services, helping them overcome challenges, expand their horizons, and achieve their fullest potential.

Give a Gift
ECLC maintains a wish list of items that would help our programs provide better services to students and adult clients. Please check the wish list page on a regular basis to see if there is an item you would care to support.
Recurring Gifts
Rather than making a single outright cash gift, you may prefer to spread out payments over a period of time that is convenient for you. Recurring gifts can be set up using our online donation form.
Matching Gifts
An easy way to double or even triple your gift to ECLC!
Stock
If you would like to make a gift of stock, please contact us before the transfer is made. We can then provide you with the proper information to make a transfer directly into the ECLC Foundation account and ensure that you are appropriately given credit.
Planned Gifts
Planned Gifts can help secure the financial future of ECLC. The most common form of a planned gift is a bequest. If you decide to include the ECLC Foundation in your will, please notify us of your intentions, so we can be guided by your wishes in our future planning. Another common planned giving vehicle is to assign the ECLC Foundation as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
Contact your financial advisor and/or attorney for advice on how you can take advantage of these and other planned giving vehicles. You can also contact ECLC for additional suggestions and information.
Make A Connection
ECLC is continually looking to expand awareness of our organization to help with:
- securing sponsorships and donations to increase our funding sources
- finding paid or volunteer jobs for our students and/or CPS and PRIDE clients, both in-house and out in the community
- reaching parents looking for a placement for their child or young adult
When we reach out to companies, foundations and/or community groups for sponsorship, grants, and/or paid or volunteer jobs for our students/clients, they often want to know if they have employees connected to our organization. Companies like to support causes that their employees support or that help the families of their employees. If you would like to share information regarding connections that could potentially benefit ECLC or our students/clients, please complete our online survey, Click Here.
WE WILL NOT USE YOUR NAME or the name of anyone you identified without first discussing our plans with you.
Volunteer
Looking for a fulfilling volunteer opportunity? Look no further! From clerical assistance to monitoring the school’s lunchroom, helping out at one of our special events, or working directly with our clients at the PRIDE Centers, ECLC is seeking capable volunteers to help support our dedicated teachers and staff.
